Description

Module COMX GPS is a satellite positioning module in the M5Stack stackable module series. It is developed based on the NEO-M8N module and equipped with an active antenna. The NEO-M8N features a high reception sensitivity of -167dBm while maintaining low system power consumption. The NEO-M8N integrates a 72-channel u-blox M8 GNSS engine, supporting multiple GNSS systems (BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, GPS / QZSS), allowing simultaneous reception of data from 3 GNSS systems. The module integrates programmable FLASH internally, enabling firmware upgrades. This module has minimal static drift, low power consumption, and a compact size, making it ideal for applications in vehicles, PDAs, handheld devices, vehicle monitoring, mobile phones, cameras, and other mobile positioning systems. The M5Core communicates with the Module COMX GPS via the UART protocol, and the UART communication pins can be set using the DIP switch inside the module.
